Summer Heat

Summer Heat follows four very different young people who meet while working at Hotel Maresia, a luxury resort located on a paradisiacal island. There, the fearless Catarina (Giovanna Lancellotti), the irreverent Yasmin (Gabz), the dreamer Diego (Jorge López), and the seasoned staff member Miguel (André Luiz Frambach) come together to face everyday challenges, making discoveries about the world and about themselves. What begins as a group of strangers soon turns into a true family. Catarina must deal with the sudden arrest of her mother, accused of money laundering and active corruption, but finds comfort in the other members of the Hotel Maresia staff during this difficult time. Amid all this, she becomes involved in an intense love triangle with Diego and Marília (Cynthia Senek). Meanwhile, Yasmin finds herself deeply involved when she begins a romance with Miguel and realizes that the two have far more in common than she ever imagined.
